Who Is Kriorska, Anyway?

Kriorska is actually two people....the name is my husband's name (Kirk) and my name (Rosa) blended together. I came up with it when I was making our wedding invitations. (My first foray into the graphic arts world!) I wanted a 'pen' name that symbolized the blending of our lives through marriage. To this day, I don't know what possessed me to alternate the letters of our names...just chalk it up to the creative process!

Kirk and I met in 1998 and married in 1999. Our wedding was a small, intimate, outdoor gathering at a friend's house. Kirk and I both have a crazy sense of humor, and we had a lot of fun startling the justice of the peace!

We live in Utah, where I met Kirk shortly after I moved here from Wisconsin. Neither of us is crazy about the city, so we live in one of the smaller suburbs of Salt Lake City. We're just your average middle-class folks who work hard and play harder! Kirk, with friends Jeff and Sidsel. We're out celebrating my birthday.

Yes, I'm dancing on the bar, and NO, I'm not drunk! It's a tradition at the Barbary Coast club, and on this particular night, they were having their annual Extreme Bar Dancing Contest. Not bad for a late-30-something, hey?!

We hang out at home a lot. We have a large back yard, and we spend a lot of time just fartin' around with our 'kids', all of whom are of the 4-legged and furred variety. Play time with Bowie and Serena ensures we ALL get plenty of exercise (especially the Momma) and fresh air!
