FRACTAL ART

Fractal art is the visual depiction of complex algorithmic mathematical equations. These equations are computed, and the art generated, upon the parameters (and variables thereof) that the artist or mathematician plugs into the software being used. Because of the infinite variables that fractal geometry presents, the artist can never be absolutely certain what effects any variable will have on the image. This makes fractal art, above all, an experimental art form. Hour upon hour is often spent making minute changes to various parameters and variables in search of just the right effect or color scheme.
